I ordered the Invicta 4469 Pro Diver watch with the Mother-Of-Pearl face in April 2008. It arrived promptly and looked BEAUTIFUL when I took it out of the box. But from day one it constantly gained time, no matter how much or how little I wore it. After doing many month's worth of weekly time checks to my electronic clock, I calculated that it gained an average of about 3 1/2 minutes a week, sometimes more. I felt this was too much, and so did the jeweler I took it to locally, especially for a Swiss movement. By March 2009 I decided I needed to address this issue. Since it was still under the original 1 year warranty, I shipped it back to Invicta (with a letter and my weekly readings) in order for them to adjust it. After waiting an eternity, I finally received it back from them. After wearing it for several more weeks, and resetting and checking the time against my electronic clock again, I determined that now it gains about 2 or 3 minutes a DAY! It cost me $25 to have Invicta test & adjust it for "free" and I don't want to mortgage my home to pay a local jeweler to hopefully do it right. I bought the Invicta Grand Diver model 3044 later for a LOT less money and it keeps MUCH better time than the 4469, especially after supposedly getting the 4469 "fixed." So now all I want to do is sell the 4469. Anybody want a great deal on a used watch?!?

have had this wath now for about a week got it off shop nbc . the day i ordered it i gave a customer testimonial on shop nbc and talked to the man " jim skelton " himself . the day i got it went back on the phone and actually talked to jim again and eyal aloa the ceo of invicta and what a pleasure that was it was awesome . anyway back to the watch , this is a great time piece and for the money u cant beat it. i love shopnbc and invicta because where else can u go and get a swiss made automatic watch with a 26 jewel selita movement saphire crystal front and back solid end links and a braclet that blows the doors off a rolex watch braclet anyday and that rolex watch will cost u about $5,000.00 i got this one for about $250.00 and this watch rivals rolex big time . seems like no one wants to admit it or talk about it but its for real take this watch or even a 9937 invicta and go to a jewelry store that sells rolex or omega and put ur watch up against theres with the glorious names and sinful prices and ask urself why would i be so stupid to purchase a rolex for five grand when i could buy ten of the 4469 watches and still have not spent what i would of payed for a rolex. the only other thing i would ad to this review is the watch is truely beautiful . the wave dial on this watch is awesome . it doesnt really show until the light hits it a certain way . but the classic design of this watch is both elegant and very sporty . as far as pro divers go this is one of my favorites . this is a must have in ur collection u will not regret it trust me on that !!!

Beautiful all around watch, "Swiss Made" quality at an awesome price - if you could overlook the "non-luxury" brand. If you need accuracy and gadgets, get an atomic solar watch. This is the watch for a person that wants the mature appearance and not pay a hyped price. We are at an age where we are surround by at least two clocks all day long, so paying too much to tell time is absurd. I got this watch for the classic look (most people associate the look to a Rolex and Omega line), but then Invicta goes beyond and improves the watch to make this an distinguish Invicta watch. The "wave" face (no MOP) adds subtle detail beauty (only at certain closeup angle), the hands are "fatter" and the Invicta logo all around. The overall construction of the watch can summed up in one word: solid quality. As such, the watch is big and heavy. I have a medium hand and the watch fits exactly the width of my wrist. It fits very well so that I didn't feel the weight. I had many other watches, this one has the look and quality that others cannot match - at this price line. Don't get me wrong, for the dirty jobs I am keeping my gshock, but when I want to look nice, this is the watch.

I love this watch. I'm very happy with it. It has a large face and numbers that I can see clearly. I've gotten many compliments since I've wearing this watch. I would recommend it highly!!

It was a well researched decision to select the Invicta #4469 over other look alike models and I made the decision because of the expected higher quality of the 26 J. Swiss movement and better engineered case and bracelet. The free 2 day shipping was a bonus.
When the watch arrived I quickly stripped it down laying all the clear wrap aside. The watch was stunning and it was easy to see the price difference would likely be justified. The bracelet alone is greatly improved over lesser copies with beautifuly thick links and deployment bars instead of the usual stamped sheet metal. The bracelet mounts to the watch case in a strong coupling that is pinned and far stronger than all other models. The see through back clearly shows the rotor and the Swiss made motor.
I was really excited to get out my watch tools and remove a few band links and size the watch for immediate wear whan I took a closer look at the dial noticing a seriously flawed face. The black surface looked as it it had melted and run; I told Amazon on the return request that it looked like krinkled cellophane. A very strange lapse in quality control and a disappointment that it hadn't been inspected before shipping.
I am a multiple watch owner, many higher end models from Rolex (gold Sub), Hublot, Breitling, Ulysis-Nardin, Krieger and more. I wanted a bullet proof knock around watch that had great style and the S/S Submariner would have worked but just too expensive so I went to the trusted Invicta offerings and did my homework. I really think this watch can get 5 stars if it shows to be a good time keeper but now I'll have to wait 5 to 7 weeks for my re-ordered watch if one is even available.
I did return the #4469 within 2 hours of receipt but it seems that was the only inventory Amazon.com had in stock so now I'll have to wait. I am concerned that it may not be available, however, since the model #4469 is not shown in the Invicta 2009 catalogue and appears to be replaced by a model #4463 that will sell for about twice the price.
Hopefully Amazon.com will do their usual good job of satisfying a customer. I think you will see that the Invicta #4469 is a great value if you are fortunate enough to get one. I'll send another report on how this saga plays out.
